Dr. O.M. Olapoju graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2001 with a B. Sc (Hons) Geography. Thereafter, he had his M.Sc and Ph. D degree in Geography from the same university in 2012 and 2017 respectively. Dr. Olapoju is currently at the completion stage of his postgraduate diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS at African Regional Institute for Geoinformation Science and Technology (AFRIGIST), O.A. U. Campus, Ile-Ife. Dr. Olapoju joined the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in May 2014 as an Assistant Lecturer and later regraded to Lecturer I in 2017 upon the completion of his PhD. Dr. Olapoju specialises in Transportation Studies. He also has interest in human transport behaviour, safety, and vulnerability. He had published scholarly articles both at the local and international levels. Presently working on: factors critical to achieving Sustainable Mobility in Nigeria; Factors of Pedestrian Vulnerability to Road Accidents; Multi-criteria Analysis of Factors of Unsafe Motorization in Ile-Ife.
